Icy has sought the power of the Dragon Flame for longer than she can remember. She'd been so desperate to feel the archaic magic flow through her veins it had lead her to work for some less-than-savoury villains, her current boss being no exception.
But there was something different about Valtor. He's made of the Dragon Flame, so surely he should have no need in trying to steal Bloom's as well, right?
That didn't stop him from watching her, plotting against her, obsessing over her.
Icy couldn't care less, it wouldn't matter in the end. Sure, she served Valtor now, but he was only a means to an end. She wasn't naive enough to think that she could steal Bloom's flame on her own, she'd tried and it had proven less than effective. As in her and her sisters were frozen solid and thrown into the Omega Dimension.
No, she'd allow Valtor to weaken the powerful fairy and then use the chance to strike. It was just a matter of timing.
But when that time came will Icy be ruthless enough to take it?
Of course she would, she's the most ruthless witch in the Magic Dimension.
Unless something unprecedented happened to change her mind.

Following Valtor’s defeat, Icy remains imprisoned for a long time in the dungeons of Lightrock Monastery, caught between Stormy’s despondency and Darcy’s sarcasm, whilst the hatred that had driven her to crave power now seems to belong to another life. When the Winx discover an ancient planet, frozen long ago by an unknown magic, almost all the fairies dismiss it as an unimportant mystery of the past — but for Bloom, who sees in that frost an echo of Domino, it is impossible to let it go. Without telling her friends, she goes alone to the cell of the only witch she knows who is bound in ice, seeking answers that no one else could give her. Amidst mistrust, old grudges and a forced alliance, the two find themselves having to work together, one in search of answers, the other of a freedom that seemed lost forever.
