To be honest, Branzy had been having a good day. Not the best— there had been that one customer who’d looked at him weird when she’d stepped into the bake-cafe (bakery slash cafe) and seen the pretty obvious vigilante propaganda posters he’d let 4C and Mid stick up all over the walls for fun, but she was definitely an outlier— but it had honestly been rather good, which was a rarity for him, and a rarity he cherished very much.
Thinking back on it now, that was probably the first sign that today would end with him standing in an alleyway, looking down at a body.
In which Branzy saves a random guy bleeding out in an alleyway and accidentally indebts Clownpierce to himself, Chief meets a cute guy on his way to work, and Clownpierce is Capital C Conflicted. Oh, right, and he's also a supervillain, and both of his crushes are married to each other. Shenanigans ensue.

Branzy looked up , purple eyes meeting bright red ones. woah. was his first thought. The person he'd bumped into , maybe by fate (and or maybe branzy has been watching way too many corny romance series) has curly black hair, almost blood red eyes. And a scar across his eye , heh...it almost made him look like a clown. A attractive one.
