The hotel's finally gaining momentum. Then an old friend crashes through the door with impossible news.
Weeks of progress. Actual guests checking in. Charlie's practically vibrating with impatience—they're ready NOW. But Diax insists on waiting two more months for the grand opening. The date he's chosen carries weight: six months since the last execution, five years since Charlie saved Vaggie. A night for celebration and new beginnings.
