Summary
Hiccup scans the sky, but can’t see anything blotting out the stars or even obscuring the view. He doesn’t know what he was expecting, honestly. Toothless? He hasn’t seen Toothless since…since the time he and Astrid brought the kids to visit almost ten years ago.
Still, his shoulders deflate. He misses his old friend. He knows he can’t go to the Hidden World — every trip poses a risk of someone following and invading the dragon safe haven. He turns back to Zephyr. “Sorry, Zeph, I thought—AHH!”
Something sharp digs into his shoulders and with the force of a thousand suns he’s ripped from the ground with a deathly scream.
Astrid can’t find the words. She doesn’t know what to even say. She can barely wrap her head around what just happened.
Hiccup’s gone. Zephyr is gone. Taken by a dragon in the middle of the night.
Her brain starts whirring before she even knows it. Even after dark, without the helpful assistance of the sun to guide, she knows that route, knows that direction, even if she hasn’t traveled that way in years. She needs to get them back — and no one can know.

Summary
It’s an ordinary day aboard the Thousand Sunny or as ordinary as life gets for the Straw Hat crew, when a thick, unnatural fog rolls in without warning, swallowing the ship whole. The last thing any of them see is a woman wrapped in a dark cloak. Across the world on the Grand Line, in the Blues, even within the New World, the same thing is happening. People vanish without a trace, taken in the fog. Navy officers. Pirates. Revolutionaries. World Government agents. Ordinary citizens. When they awaken, they find themselves all in the same place, with no way out and no answers. Trapped together, these strangers soon realize the truth, they are no longer participants in the world they knew, but witnesses, forced to watch the journey of a rookie pirate and his crew unfold before their eyes. Hopefully some of them can change the horrible fates they may befall.

Summary
Luffy has always loved the color red. Red is his favorite meat. Red is Sanji's blood streaming down his face at the sight of women. Red is Zoro's skin after his first workout set (out of 200) of the day. Red is Chopper's cheeks when you compliment him. Red is Robin's favorite book. Red is Franky's favorite speedo. Red (lace of course) is Brook's favorite panties. Red is the color of someone's face after Ace and Luffy robbed them blind. Red is Makino's nails when she painted them. Red is Dadan's beads, which Ace wears proudly. Red is Shanks and his crew. Red is love. Red is family. Or at least it was. Now, as Luffy takes in the scene in front of him, the red he sees isn't meat. It isn't Makino, Dadan, or Shanks. It isn't love. The red he sees is family being pierced through and through with an angry red fist dripping with magma...
