Summary
A traditional red tower with dark roofing stood before him, the upper levels of it gone and destroyed. The outside was burnt and full of holes. A sign out front told passersby’s not to enter, though this didn’t deter the boy standing outside. Ethan happily rushed in, excited to explore. He always did love going where he shouldn’t have. Once inside, he was greeted by two strangers, both talking of the legendary Suicune. One was apparently the Ecruteak City gym leader.
Ethan didn’t particularly care about finding the legendary, after all, shouldn’t it remain free? He just wanted to look around, maybe find somethings from the past, but of course, he couldn’t just have a nice day, could he?

Hotguy beamed at him. "Well then! Why don't we get you home, beauty?" Hotguy questioned, holding his arm out for Grian to take.
Grian rolled his eyes but indulged the hero. He slotted his hand through the man's arm and gave him a questioning smile, "Seriously, why do you keep calling me that?"
Hotguy gave a sly smile but nothing else, letting the professor's question be left on a cliffhanger.

Grian just can't get a break. He works a double life, has to deal with an annoying hero cop, and now there's someone or something following his every move. So, being the idiot he is, does everything in his power to ignore such. Unfortunely, that can not be done for long.

You didn’t answer my comms, so I came to find you.” The redstoner’s eyes crinkled in amusement and he glanced pointedly at Grian’s wings. “It’d be embarrassing if I got there before you, mate. Besides, at this point I’m so used to flying with you, it’d be strange not to have you by my side.”

Mumbo reached him inside the cage before eyes erupted from everywhere outside the bars and they all pinned him in a glare and Grian faced him and his face was eyes too. Then he changed and looked like the Grian that Mumbo knew, but it was like all the life had been scraped out of him, and his dead eyes looked through Mumbo as if he wasn’t even there.
AKA a harmless experiment on the Rift between worlds goes terribly wrong, and Mumbo and crew have to figure out how to get their favorite avian back from the Watchers, but the End Deities have a few surprises up their sleeves
