Summary
The way Grian was weighed down was most noticeable in the most mundane moments of night, in Scar’s opinion. He could see the way Grian’s eyes fell from the sharp awareness that kept them alive into a restless exhaustion. He was tense, too, paranoid in a different way, like it wasn’t the rest of the players he worried about, but the too bright stars and the whispering wind, the world itself.

Grian lifts a brow. “What, that I like bowls?”

He shrugs, setting the bowl down carefully. “It’s probably just déjà vu.”
He doesn’t say: It’s probably from one of the lives where you died in my arms again. That would be weird over a five-dollar bowl at a Saturday market.

Summary
Grian had crash-landed in an abandoned world where nobody resides, locked away from players, and forced to live a life of solidarity for his own safety away from the Watchers. But then something peculiar happens…
The avian finds a group, a bundle of people that calls themselves the ‘Hermits’, all from different walks of life, some even hybrids, who had joined the world and claimed it as their own! So now he’s tasked to figure out why everybody is so strange while ensuring they don’t figure out he doesn’t belong. Shouldn’t be so hard…

Or, the Hermits are jumping from world to world and happen to join the world Grian is living on. Grian tries to get them off it to live a quiet life away from the Watchers but unfortunately for him, they are persistent. -

“Look! Isn’t it gonna be so fun to watch the movie, G?” Scar chuckled out, looking down at the small blond man who nodded in agreement. “Yeah, what’s it about now again..?” Grian was sat with a bucket of popcorn in his lap watched as baby Yoda started singing? This definitely wasn’t what Grian was expecting.
“Why’s Yoda singing..?” Grian asked hazily. “Because he needs to stop darth vader from destroying their space shuttle so he’s using the force of his voice!” Scar beamed in response. What the fuck is this movie about, Grian thought to himself. Grian soon zoned out and he was soon taken back to reality when he saw an arm flicker towards his lap, Scar’s arm reaching out for popcorn which was in his lap. Really that shouldn’t trigger something within him but if it did then that was a secret he would keep to himself.

Scar hates that man. He legally has to stay at the HA 24/7 and live there due to being a hybrid. Scar feels bad for him, having no life or home outside the HA but dudes an actual dick. So Scar doesn’t feel too bad. Scar had to deliver something to the guy's office, a quick run to the basement, easy right? The head archivist got all angry.The guy is a complete monotone mess who always seems pissed and indifferent to Scar. Usually the people in the offices love Scar, who doesn’t love the Hero HotGuy? He tried to get the head archivist on his side by being food for the entire office, just to find out the archivist is allergic. How was Scar supposed to know harpies can’t eat most foods other than meat and vegetables? That’s not even common sense because you don’t see a harpy everyday! What to do.. -
