Summary
The last thing Eddie ever expected when they started dating was that he'd somehow start spending less time with Buck instead of more.
Clearly, there was a problem here, lurking just underneath the surface and Eddie wasn't keen on letting their relationship suffer over something so inconsequential. Or maybe it wasn't, because it led them here to this moment and to this impending argument.
Maybe talking about it wasn't such a bad idea. Because something was going on here and Eddie was done pretending that there wasn't.

Summary
He stopped, when he saw the elevator doors still opened, but with his team (his former team, he supposed) inside. He knew he shouldn’t ask them to hold the doors, that much was clear with the way Eddie and Bobby avoided his gaze. So, he slowed down, hoping the doors would close before he reached them.
But then Chimney reached his hand out, stopping the door from closing. Buck paused, surprised by the action.

After the fight with Eddie in the grocery store, Buck drops a glass jar and cuts his hand.
Buck's just too tired, thinks he's just too tiring, to do anything but buy some gauze and plan on bandaging himself up at home.
Buck's not really thinking about the blood thinners he's still on when the blood loss makes him collapse outside the store, right in front of Eddie.

Summary
Eddie's been in love with Buck so long, he honestly didn't realize there could be anyone in the world who didn't know they were a couple now.
In which it takes a little bit for Eddie to 1) understand why Buck would care about parent-teacher conferences and 2) understand that that art teacher was absolutely hitting on him right in front of Buck. Luckily Eddie knows exactly how to fix things.
