Summary
Pressure fic I'm making because we need more Painter-centric content, tyvm.
Don't have much of a plan right now other than a few ideas floating in my head that I plan on keeping a secret for now.
Mainly an exploration of Painter as a character and my interpretation of him because there are soooo many ways to interpret this guy I didn't even realize it until I saw how other people interpreted him and went, "Woah! That's so different from how I see him— How interesting..."
So, uh, yeah! Here's this!

Summary
Expendable. That's all you were, all you'd ever be. Stuck in the depths of the Hadal Blacksite you've come to admit it to yourself. Just another Expendable, seeking a freedom that was never promised. You know of others in similiar plight. The experiments, that funky fish-looking dude with the snark and his static friend who often radio'd in whenever you were buying supplies.

"Surviving doesn't make you a bad person."You'd heard Sebastian's softer words of comfort to Painter. Ofcourse they were only surviving, but so were you. Freedom was a precious thing you both sought, but they would never extend their trust to someone working for Urbanshade.
So, despite the unimaginable circumstances, you seek to change that. To stray from the script.And you know, to avoid getting murked by Sebastian at every little inconvenience.

Summary
The Expendable would kill Painter, and then Sebastian would kill the Expendable, and then Mr. Lopee would have to reset it all.. again. He was getting real sick of this. It was like every new Expendable sent down had to try their hand at killing that computer, some even did it more than once, knowing eveyone would forget thanks to their mysterious benefactor. Maybe he should save himself the trouble, and let Sebastian remember for once.

Basically: Sebastian remembers the 'Stick to the Script' timeline and decides that he will not be letting the Expendable get to Painter this time.
