"Because I'm more than just a rescue hero, Bakugou!!" Her eyes creased in disbelief as she sighed, annoyed they were even having this conversation. "You know that having me on the field will give you an edge. You've seen what I can do! What's wrong with a little backup?!"
She knew that he took her seriously enough to believe she could hold her own against anyone—at least, she sure as hell hoped so—but that was not what was happening here. Ochako didn't need to ask because the answer was clear, even if he didn't want to say it aloud.
Bakugou Katsuki…was a fucking VILLAIN HOG.
Or Bakugou and Uraraka are locked in this intense rivalry where they try to one-up each other on villain captures, and it all comes to a head when she challenges him at a seemingly innocent game of pool at a house party.
And, of course, maybe there's more than just their competitiveness with each other that seems to be bubbling to the surface...

His fingers bit into his biceps, his teeth snagging on his lower lip as he let a threat rumble out of his chest. Heat already flared to his face but ignited a course up his ears when the most calculating smirks from Izuku met his gaze. He resisted the urge to pull forward and kiss it right off his face.
Izuku’s eyes creased expectantly, teeth folding over his bottom lip to preserve the taste of his small victory.
Katsuki's nose crinkled before he closed his eyes, feeling the pressure of his curious mind tap along the edge of his ego. “...A challenge?”

On the year anniversary of their engagement, Izuku and Katsuki decide to go to Vegas in the US just to get out of the country and to see what all the hype is about. Cue crazy little antics, where Izuku discovers the thrill of gambling and decides to make a bet with Kacchan. If he wins, they will get married right here right now.
