Summary
Mike plans a thoughtful surprise for Will's first art show, but everything goes wrong after they get into a big fight.
-----------------“Yeah it’s just nerves about the show and .. stuff.” Will pauses, taking a breath. “Just nervous.” He attempts a smile.
“Will, your art is amazing. Like jaw droppingly good. They chose you to be in the showcase, I’m sure everybody will love your work.” Mike rounds the corner of the counter to grab Will’s shoulder. “I always do.”
Will looks into his eyes for a moment, expression a bit puzzled, and then nods his head. He turns towards the cabinet and reaches up to grab a mug, his shirt riding up his back and revealing his back dimples. Mike gulps, eyes lingering a moment too long on a mole above his waistband. Get a grip Wheeler.
“Was there anything else bothering you?” Mike presses, his brain still lagging a bit behind.
Will sighs. “I don’t know. Carlton is just being weird about it and it’s stressing me out more.” Mike flinches at the name.

Summary
This summer had been hard on Mike Wheeler.
As in... 'Hard'.
Apart from the cloying heat that seemed to permeate his lungs and stick to every inch of his skin, he had suddenly begun to notice things about his best friend that he wasn't sure were normal.
In fact he knew they weren't.

“But I like Will so much…” Mike groans, burying his face in his hands. He’s going in circles. Saying the same things over and over as a strange and ineffective way of deflecting. “This guy’s making me crazy.”
“No, you’re crazy,” Max corrects bluntly.
“You already were,” Lucas adds, “and then you met a guy.”
Okay, harsh, but he doesn’t feel particularly inclined to say that they’re wrong.
When Mike Wheeler finds himself smitten with a boy from the drama club, an arts department showcase at school brings them unexpectedly close — sparks fly, catastrophe strikes. Mike goes a little insane. Not really. Maybe.

“Is it cause you used to have a crush on me?” Mike asked, abruptly.
“What!” It was Will’s turn to blush harder, giving him a glare reserved for Mike Wheeler and Mike Wheeler only. “No. God. That was ages ago. I’ve been past that for a long time.”
Mike motioned like he’d made his point. “See? So? It wouldn’t be weird.”
So, Mike likes guys. Fine, Will can live with that. Except now Mike's worried about having fallen behind and would really like some help practicing how to kiss a guy from his also-into-guys best friend. And Will is trying really, really hard to be a good mentor to him, so what is he going to do, say no?

Summary
Will Byers is starting college, majoring in Studio Art. He has a boyfriend who is kind to him, Carlton, and is going with him. Everything in his life is good, finally. After being bullied in school for years, he could now be normal. Or at least as normal as a gay man majoring in art could be. Things take a serious turn when he meets his roommate, Mike Wheeler.
Mike is a vampire. He has been for the past two years, and now he is trying to blend in and keep his head low. He decides to stay in a dorm room, hoping his roommate won’t pay much attention to him. When he meets his roommate, Will Byers, things change. Will’s scent alone makes Mike swallow with want. Why did Will smell so good?
When Will starts to question the strange things Mike does, and Mike can no longer control himself around Will, any sense of normalcy is lost. They both will have to confront their suspicions and feelings, and it will be…fun. At least for us ;)
This is NOT the finished description; I just needed to give a description of what the gist of the book will be. I’ll change this later when I have more scenes and dialogue. For now, I hope this is good enough.

Summary
Mike is waiting for Will in the basement, a look of suspicious, nervous excitement on his face. He cleared the table and laid out upon it are two card games.
"Now, I know you’ll resist," Mike blurts out, stepping toward him. "But I think this will be good. For both of us! For when we... you know,” Mike trails off, “When we get partners.”
Will scoffs, stepping closer to inspect the titles.
Spill or Sip and Truth, Dare, or Strip.
Or: Mike suggests a spicy card game to help Will loosen up before college. It works a little too well, and suddenly they’re gambling with unresolved feelings, and clothes, that were meant to stay in place.
