Summary
Freedom and madness are two different things. Freedom is the state of movement, of warmth, of speed, and in some cases, even purpose. Madness is the state of rigidness, of rage, despondency and even futility.
Some might say, the moments we feel those concepts the most, the further away we are from keeping them in our lives, the faster they'll decay and radiate out strife and uncertainty.
Ariane closes a book, takes a sip of the warm chocolate from the mug on her little table and looks over the newest painting of her collection.
One red eye, center of the sky, pupil of a bleeding moon, tears welling down, a sickle where previously only completed things looked upon a red ocean, living to free themselves from under it's great watch, from over the crimson dunes, fallen obelisks and spires.
Of all the things she's left behind.
