So now here she was standing at the entrance to her own living room watching as the tortured soul of her husband was petting her black cat softly. Married. She felt a series of laugh/crying sounds wanting to make their way out of her throat.
Her family had known as she walked down the aisle to her ex-husband that she was already married. They’d let her commit bigamy.
She took a swig out of the rapidly emptying bottle as her mind rapidly swirled through everything. Her and Beetlejuice were married. Here she’d been bitter, angry, and getting drunk while mourning her divorce and the fact that she had no choice but to become a crazy cat lady. And now here she was apparently married as she’d been since she was sixteen. Not once had anyone ever told her.
