Summary
Steph turns back to the television, waiting for Cass to hit play, and then glances back at Cass, only to find her still looking at her. Steph reaches over her lap and grabs the remote, but finds her hand falling atop Cass’ own. She feels Cass tense and she winces, her own heartbeat pounding in her ears. That was a stupid move, she realises it now.
“It’s okay,” Cass says softly, and Steph realizes she’s once again forgotten that Cass is an expert at reading body language. She frowns, and then plasters a grin on her face as she sits up straight again.
OR; Steph introduces Cass to the Twilight saga and they both ignore their feelings
