“Hello? Is someone there?” asks Joaquin.
Nothing.
He turns back and walks back to his coffees when someone shouts behind him: “Hey, Parker!”
Joaquin looks back, sees a guy pointing a weird looking gun at him, and instinctively gets down, his arm protecting his face. But he's hit by a blast of energy instead of a bullet. It makes him crash against the wall next to him, his left side taking most of the hit.
OR
When enemies of Spider-Man make a mistake and kidnap Joaquin Torres instead of Peter.

Summary
Clark hasn't been able to stop thinking about Michael- sorry Mr.Terrific - since Lois told him how Mister Terrific had been the only one of Superman's friends to go with Lois to the pocket dimension. The only one to save Clark's ass in that boxed up prison. It doesn't help that Michael's been a presence just on the edge of his peripheral everytime they fight together. Clark will find himself keeping track of the other man, wanting to oddly enough hear praise from him whenever Clark's done something to make Mr. Terrific's eyebrow tick up and his lip slant into a "well damn" smile. Clark is getting desperate, now that Lex Luthor and the media don't have his attention anymore he has all the free time in the world to think about Michael.
And then there's the space creature of the week that seems to share Clark's obsession with Mr. Terrific.
