Summary
After blabbing to her parents, telling them all about a non-existent boyfriend to keep them from continuously begging her to find one, Elizabeth is invited to a ball by her parents. The underlined requirement is that she bring the boyfriend that she told them all about.
In need of a fake boyfriend to take to the ball, she turns to her biggest enemy: Alexander Hamilton.
She realizes it's a horrible decision, and she truly regrets it, but what more can she do? She's desperate.
