Let his spirit in so that they can change the world's fate together, as one entity, and turn back time. The Inquisitor didn't know what would happen to her, but they were both dying either way and so she accepted and soon found herself in 9:30 Dragon with eighteen years to stop the world from ending.
It's a shame that she didn't have the patience to wait for it.
