Summary
Sequel to Aconite Tea-must read first to know what's going on.
Levi is doing everything he can to find answers on what happened to Erwin. The team has promised to help where they can, but as more cases come in, he finds himself turning to the unorthodox for aid. The GSIS unit that he's assigned to specializes in homicide, meaning he's out of the loop with the team assigned to Erwin's missing persons case.
No wonder why he's getting desperate, calling on help from witches and strangers on the dark web. But answer are answers. Doesn't matter who gives them to him. Or at least that's his thought process until he's led to a realm stricken with new dangers and cut-throat devils.
There's a saying from Hippocrates: "for extreme diseases, extreme methods of cure... are most suitable." Well, extreme is putting it lightly for the lengths Levi will go through to get his reaper back. He just hopes Erwin's wit will keep him alive long enough to do so.
Wouldn't hurt if Levi had a bit of familial support either.

“I’m nearly 15 years older than you, boy. So, to me, you’re quite young,” the man said with a mirthless chuckle. “But at least you are attractive, so there’s that. Beggers and choosers, you know?”
“Wow, aren’t you a romantic?” Levi could almost kick himself. This was probably his wealthiest client to date and he has done nothing but be a total ass since he walked into the room.
“Come now, Levi. We are both aware of what this situation is, and I no more expect romance than you do. Unless I am mistaken. Are you expecting romance, Levi?”

Summary
Fight. Fight. Fight.
Most of Levi’s life has been centered around fighting. Whether it be against thugs, titans, or corrupt nobles, no person doubts Levi’s skill and acumen. But despite his unmatchable skills, he’s also only human; and like any human, Levi grows tired of the constant battles. Even once they “solved” the titan problem outside the walls, the fights never ended. They just took different forms.
But as a group of Marleyans enact their plans for Paradis, perhaps Levi can finally catch the break he undoubtedly deserves. Like with anything worth having though, it won’t come easy – and would Levi even accept the form that this break would take?
