“Kill you!” Andromeda exclaims, sand squishing under her sandals as she moves closer. “No, no, I need your help.”
The woman is still, shoulders tight with some unnameable yet indubitably negative emotion. There is only the roar of the waves and the thrum of Andromeda’s own heartbeat to keep herself company.
“Please,” Andromeda says. “Can I at least ask your name?”
