The discovery surprised him, but more than that, the after effects of their encounter messed up in a part of Alastor that rarely showed up: Vox's heat pheromones put him in rut for the first time in ages. Now, confused and stressed, Alastor sees no alternative but to go after his chatty picture box, to fix or end things, once and for all.
