“Listen, it makes sense that you’re feeling a lot right now and I’m here for you,” Ray tries before processing what exactly Gerard said, “Wait, what do you mean you need to go?”
“Gee, don’t forget- oh, hey Ray.”
The voice is so familiar for a moment that Ray is scared to turn to the voice because surely he must be hallucinating, there’s no other possible reason he’d be hearing- “What the fuck.” He says it so flatly as he looks at Mikey standing by Gerard’s desk. He looks the same as always, brown hair ironed flat and thick glasses rest on the tip of his nose as he gives a little wave like everything is fine, like Ray’s brain hasn’t been conjuring up images of his black and blue and bloody to play on repeat since Gerard told them he’d been grabbed by the fae (somehow the beat up body was better than what he imagined thralled people look like or are forced to do).

OR, a weird middle-ground between a bottle episode and a dialogue study, in which Gerard Way is a tattoo artist and Frank Iero is an ink fiend willing to take eight hours under a needle in exchange for... well, he isn't sure.
Spanning a year's worth of tattoo appointments-- trending toward mutual therapy sessions-- and the occasional adventure, Frank and Gerard bond over croquet teams, missing cats, deep fears, and the belief that a city can shatter a heart, but the right person can put it back together again.

When Gerard made his Christmas to-do list, it didn't involve desperately getting hired at a Bed & Breakfast for the holidays. It didn't mention trying to set up two of the B&B's guests before New Years splits them apart, and Gerard definitely didn't plan on his employer being The Hottest Man He Has Ever Seen.
He probably could've picked a calmer house to be stuck at for two weeks, but if Frank Iero keeps on being decidedly sexy, maybe it won't be so bad.
