Summary
He couldn't remember the last time it had rained. Not in any recent memory. More urgently, he had no recollection of how he came to find himself in the middle of what he could only assume was a forest, far from the pollutive light of city streets with only the moon's tender glow to illuminate the land before him.
Ken wakes alone in an unfamiliar forest with no memory of how he got there. The night is eerily quiet, the world strangely empty, and a black, viscous substance keeps appearing whereever he goes. Worse still, when danger finally reveals itself, the powers he relies on refuse to answer.

Summary
Top shelf liquor with a top shelf girl floating in it. She was radiant, turquoise tail flicking lazily through amber. Ken had served her to many customers, of course, and each time he envied the way the alcohol would slide over her rounded curves and down the customer's throat.
Then she would touch the other man. As she did with all of her regulars (faces which he hated and knew by rote). Under the black lights scattered throughout the building, those spots would shimmer with reflected residue–the more frequent customers glowing much more brightly, as though she'd tattooed her essences into their skin.
Just like she'd inked herself into the surface of his heart; it was all over his hands, his wrists, sections of his forearm tattoos (“You could use some color here, Ken,” she had purred before scratching the blank areas and filling him in like a goddamn canvas), and where she always curled her tail teasingly around his ring finger.

A castle deep in the forest. A twisted curse.
It was supposed to be a normal outing, to see if the place even existed in the first place. Now Momo has lost Okarun to a curse she can't even begin to fathom, a curse that threatens to erase everything about the boy she loves until nothing remains. There is a part to play, an ancient role to carefully fulfill. To save Okarun Momo would do anything, but the enchanted, talking furniture is a bit too much, isn't it?

Like all the attacks on them, it's unexpected. Unlike most of the other attacks on them, it works. An alien species they've never seen before manage to drag Momo into their ship, kicking and screaming. Okarun isn't letting them take her. So they take him too.
Days of frantic searching turn into weeks.
In the end, they find them by accident, filthy and naked. Snarling.
