It was an innocent enough touch.
One brush of his hand against hers, before those long dexterous fingers encircled her wrist and squeezed.
Her breath fluttered, and she watched his eyes widen as his thumb pressed harder into her pulse point.
He'd felt it, too.
A sudden surge of magic between them, like all of the oxygen had been sucked from the room. Like she'd lived her entire life underwater and he'd pulled her to the surface, breathing life into her soul.
His gaze never left hers, briefly darting to her parted lips before returning to her eyes.
"See me after class, Miss Granger."

Three months have passed since the final battle at Hogwarts. It's them against the entire Ministry of Magic and a population sick and tired of war.
