Bruce’s brain takes a moment to reboot. “Your parents are in South America?”
“Yes.”
He’s not sure why he’s so surprised – the Drakes are known for their work in archeology, and not much of that can be done locally. Still, he assumed that they took Timothy with them when they left the country for work. It seems a shame to leave him with a nanny this close to Christmas.
“Okay,” he says, erasing the numbers typed into his phone. “What’s your nanny’s number, then?”
“My what?” Timothy looks scandalized.
“Your babysitter? Whoever is in charge of you while your parents are gone,” he clarifies.
“I’m in charge of me when my parents are gone,” Timothy says proudly, his little chest puffing out. “I’m the Man of the House.”

Tim gets to spend Christmas with the Waynes! This will not have lasting consequences, I'm sure.

Summary
Tim had always been good at compartmentalizing.
So when the contractions started earlier that day, something dull and irregular, he simply chalked it up to the tail end of pregnancy aches and kept going with his daily routine. He cleaned the apartment. Rechecked his go-bag. Reviewed their hospital route. Ate three bites of toast and glared at the rest.
He was doing fine. Great, in fact.
OR: Tim is not doing fine and Kon plays doctor. No newborn children were harmed in the making of this.

Summary
Conner loved Tim. From the first moment he practically laid eyes on the other boy. He couldn't always say the feelings had been mutual. However, before him and Tim had gotten together he really didn't even think the bat boy liked him. Conner thanks Rao and whatever God may exist that Tim looks his way and loves him the way he does.
