Summary
The Negotiator has a problem. The rest of these peons don't seem to want to recognize her claims to royalty. They scoff and scorn her whenever she tells them of her origin, ousted from the Summer Court. Certainly, they tolerate her, when they need her power, or when they need her assistance. But none understand her, nor do they respect her.
Finally, she comes across a fellow royal. A woman calling herself 'Queen', an equal, though her throne is wax and papier mâché, and her robes are naught but tattered rags. Finally she has a peer...
And the woman scorns her.
Unbelievable.
Absolutely unbelievable.

Summary
Taylor Hebert honestly wasn't sure whether she hated her power or not. Some days were better than others. Some days, she didn't hate the strange worlds her abilities let her explore. Some days, she even enjoyed being Wanderer.
Some days, however, she didn't like it in the slightest. Some worlds weren't very pleasant at all. The thorns and the creeping dark still haunted her, and she never knew when she would accidently delve too deep.
But she could forget about those days, when she got lucky enough to wander back to Sarah, again.
~or~
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost. -

Summary
Everyone needs a reason.
To prosper, to flourish. Even to just get to the next day.
Hannah might have found a new one.
Whether she could help Taylor find hers was... a work in progress. There was no guide for her to follow, no procedure or protocol. She could only do her best.
Even so, the question remained; how do you raise a torture victim with a worrying amount of power?
There was no right answer.
And as the skeletons gather in the wake of her ward, a choice will have to be made, by both of them.
What are they willing to sacrifice, to keep going?
