"Oh, well I guess we can reschedule I'm huh-" Bruno started, mentally panicking at the idea of having to go through all the anxiety again.
"No need, if it's still okay with you I can leave you in the very capable hands of my colleague, he's just cleaning up now so he could be ready for you in a couple of minutes" he offered, toying with the pencil he had tucked behind his ear.
"Yeah I guess that's fine, I'll wait for him then?" he asked, and Melone just nodded, closing up the appointments book and retreating back in his studio with a “I guess I'll see you then love, trust me Leone’s the best!” over his shoulder.
Bruno sighed, sinking back in the plush leather cushion of the sofa.
So Melone's busy what's the big deal, he didn't even know the guy so one artist or the other didn't matter right?

Summary
Steve laughs again as he takes another drag of smoke, golden brown Omegan eyes watching him keenly, glinting with amusement, before he blows the cloud of smoke off to the side.
Eddie somehow feels like he's still out of the loop.
“That's… Eddie, that's really sweet of you, and I really appreciate the sentiment.” He turns to Eddie fully, cigarette between his fingers, resting against his lips that are still curved in an amused smile. “I kinda feel like I need to correct something though…” He leans in a little bit, speaking softer. “I don't scare Alphas away because I'm a dude.”
For some reason, Steve's tone of voice makes Eddie's skin prickle up in goose bumps.
It's the oh no sensation all over again. Like he's in way over his head and only realized it just now.
“O-Oh?” he prompts weakly.
Steve snorts, and he glances up at Eddie from underneath his eyelashes. Which is impressive, given they're the same height.
“They get scared off when they realize I'm not interested in letting them take charge. That's why.”

It all starts when Steve accidentally sends Eddie an explicit picture. Eddie does what any red blooded Alpha would do.

Summary
There's a new restaurant across from Eddie's game store - and that is just his newest problem.
Hot cuisine or whatever it's called isn't something he thought he needed in his life. He's more of a greasy cheeseburgers, cigarettes and dry cereal kinda guy. All things considered, the hip new place with its fancy food and its thriving social media account should stand for everything he hates.
Except the owner is making it really hard - pun intended.
Because Steve isn't a superficial, capitalist asshole. He's a nice guy with beautiful hair and great hands and a quirky sense of humor and great hands and a fantastic ass, and did Eddie mention the hands? For some reason, he can't stop staring at them, which is very unfortunate - especially since Steve seems to have made it his mission to introduce him to a more varied diet, and Eddie is developing some extremely inappropriate feelings related to food and cooking here.
Between burst pipes, DnD campaigns, annoying influencers, and the shiny new mall project that is threatening their neighborhood, it's all a lot to deal with, but he guesses he'll just have to suck it up - pun, again, very much intended.
