Summary
It felt like home, a real home that was just theirs, and they'd only been too happy to call it an early evening.
Having Verso in his arms was surreal after all these months of dating, of dancing around the topic and gaining increasing ground in the other's apartment. At least until a week ago, when Verso's lease finally ended and he'd settled into Gustave's humble abode.
Gustave breathed, a content hum escaping him as he settled with lazy kisses to Verso's neck. The omega's scent was never particularly strong, its earthy scents easily masked by the cologne he sometimes wore instead. Here, now, in their bed — theirs, theirs! — it was prominent, a gentle thing that smelled like calm and home with a delicate sweetness.

Here, there was one and only one expectation that he had foisted upon him, and it was minor in the grand scheme of things.
Here, he was only expected to fight. Or, more specifically, lose while fighting.

Summary
It took just a few conversations, some drinking, and a desire to move on with their lives for Verso and Alicia to convince their parents to share their old painting techniques and tutelage with the world. After all, it's not like it's terribly difficult to set up art streams. Right?

Summary
"It's nice," Verso remarked quietly, breaking the silence between them. Gustave made a confused noise, tipping his gaze up to his lover. Verso gestured vaguely in front of them. "To hear kids being kids."
"Ah, yeah." He huffed softly. "Though they're taking it absurdly seriously."
"Building a snowman is serious business."
"Is that what they're doing? Making a man out of snow?"
"If my memory's to be believed."

Summary
A flash of white fur and wooden hands he just barely missed were the last thing he remembered before his body erupted with icy fire, and the sound of the world disappeared with a rumbling rush. Water bubbles shrouded his vision and hid the sun, his hair whipping in front of his eyes as gravity committed to its act.

Summary
The first words your soulmate says to you appear on your skin. And they only appear once—everybody knows that.
So when Verso Dessendre walks into Gustave's garage with a vintage car that needs restoring and eyes that hold eight years of secrets, and Gustave's wrist burns with new words - eight years after his soulmate abandoned him - he knows something is wrong.
Apparently, the universe isn't done with them yet.
This is a story about sacrifice and second chances, about the lies we tell to protect the ones we love, and about fighting for happiness even when the world says you don't deserve it.
Some love stories get a second chance. Some get second words. -

Summary
Verso lived through the fire, as did Alicia, but he didn't wake up. He remained unconscious, and when his family realised that he and Alicia had been found in the atelier during the fire, they realised that Verso has gone into the canvas.
Aline went in after him, believing she could wake him up. She finds Verso, who doesn't remember anything. In his pain addled mind he ended up creating Lumiere, and a painted version of his family, and they were living together happily. Aline helps him remember, but all he could feel was the fire and the burning agony of his body, and so she paints over him and erases his memories again to keep him safe. Renoir then goes in to wake up his son himself, and drag his wife out the canvas, resulting in the Fracture. Expedition Zero goes out to search for their loved ones and rescue them, and inevitably find out what happened from Cleo. Now Verso has to stop his family from tearing apart his canvas, and try keep his mother from constantly erasing his memories to keep him compliant. It goes about as well as you might expect.
(Basically, Verso lived, but is trapped in the canvas by his mother, and now has to deal with the horror of having his family raging war inside his canvas)
