Summary
It started with clear signs Oscar immediately ignored. The ache in his body that was completely unwarranted, since he hadn't exercised today, or the day before; and that, paired with the stomach cramps and general tightness in his abdomen, were telling a familiar story.
Maybe it was the barbecue on Wednesday, or perhaps it's a bug he's dragged from Australia. And jetlag too, that's probably the cause of the headaches. And being honest, being in the hot garage right now probably isn't helping with it, to be fair.or; WAG Oscar gets sick at the Austin GP. (It's okay, though. Lando gets there to help... eventually)

Some new faces were around the garage today! This weekend the team received Oscar Piastri, he was part of an engineering program by Mclaren. He’s been working with them for a while now, and already met Lando in the MTC in 2023! Hopefully we can hear more from them soon. 👀

Summary
Learning other languages was something that came quite easily to Oscar. Even though he most definitely butchered the pronunciation of almost every single word. He still knew basic Japanese from the lessons at school, his time at Alpine had taught him some French. If he tried his best, he probably could repeat the handful of Italian sentences he learned from his former teammates at Prema.
So when Lando had joked about Spa being his other home race, it took less than ten minutes for Oscar to start a new Duolingo streak.
(Five times Oscar fell victim to the Dutch language and one time it actually helped him out)

Summary
Oscar was cool, calm and collected. Ok maybe not cool since it was currently 27 degrees out and he had not stopped sweating since they arrived in Saudi Arabia, but he was calm and collected, for the most part. And also in love with his teammate, which does not help with the calm part of this equation. But he was burning. He stood on the podium, sweating through his race suit, a restlessness in his limbs causing him to twitch. Being from such a magical family, Oscar should have expected this. Even then, he was still doubtful anything was happening.

The grid has magic, Oscar grows wings, falls in love with his teammate, and wins Miami. Not necessarily in that order

Summary
Lando fishes out the phone from his pocket, ducks down a little when there’s a sharp bang of a door being opened rather harshly on the opposite end of the hallway, puts it up to his ear. “Hi, love.”
Oscar’s voice is crackly, a bit weak ‒ the connection must be shit, this far underground. “Category five bad news incoming,” he says. “Gonna be late to dinner.”
The bangs rise in both intensity and tempo, sparks flying from what Lando thinks might have been a metal lab table at some point, pressed hard against his back. He twists around, returns fire. “You’re kidding.”
Or: all Lando wants to do is finish his job, get his genetically-engineered murder child some much-needed exercise, and be home in time for dinner with Oscar's parents. Nothing in his life works out the way he wants it. Death and Other Lies: the Squeakwel.
