Chi Cheng barely noticed, as his dark eyes were fixed squarely on Wu Suowei, who was sitting on the doctor's lap, humming as if he'd never hummed, dressed in those damn leather pants, his gaze fixed squarely on Wang Shuo.
At that moment, Chi Cheng knew this would be his end, but he also knew that at least he could drag Guo Chengyu down with him, because the other man never took his eyes off Jiang Xiaoshuai's prominent collarbones.
In other words, the two divas decided to deal with the worm that had fallen into their web.

With time and patience... you can be as messed up as me
The war is over and Harry is trying to move on with his life, however fate isn't done with him yet.
Whilst in the aurors, they soon cotton on to his childhood issues and manditory mind healing is undergone. Now, years later, he's embraced the heritage he was denied and unwoven the mess of compulsions and obliviates which made him a child soldier and sacrifice. As head auror he is both powerful and competent, but there's an itch he can't seem to ignore.
When Samhain comes around again, his usual bad luck is there to greet him, and in a state of almost death, he meets the patron deity of his family, and the being he's been accidentally ignoring for the past decade.
There's a laundry list of things he should have been doing, and nowhere near enough time for him to undo all the mess left behind, which, if not sorted soon, could unravel the presence of magic in their world.
If Harry has a hope of fixing everything, he'll have to go back.

“Dumbledore seriously needs to check his morals! He wants a child to kill a grown-up wizard! Not to mention one of the most powerful dark wizards in Britain!”“The prophecy does say you’d be his equal," Atropos pointed out.
“Only raw magical power won’t be able to do anything," Harry pointed out. “I can’t just fire off spells at him and hope for the best. Besides, he must have had at least three decades worth of experience over me.”
“Five decades actually," Lord Death supplied.
Harry slumped slightly. “You guys and Dumbledore both are insane!”, he proclaimed.
“We didn’t say you will have to kill him really," Atropos pointed out.
Harrison Potter and the Horcrux Hunt
Now that Harry has finally made his decision, he has to start working with Diary-Tom Riddle to figure out where Voldemort has hidden his Horcruxes and find them out. But the sudden breakout from Azkaban has resulted in a flurry of Dementors surrounding the castle which, instead of giving Harry reassurance as they are the creatures of Death, give him a very bad feeling.
Hermione Granger has started to follow him around and being strange, while Albus Dumbledore has begun meddling directly in Harry's life.
On top of getting strange dreams from his connection with Voldemort, which do nothing more than add to his bad feeling, Harry is confused by the strange behavior that his guardian is portraying.

Reid wrapped his fingers around the pool cue and stared hard at the table. He drew lines with his eyes from the cue ball to the others and from there to the pocket, letting his mind slip into the pure math that was the true base of pool. He could sink the 6 and the 5 in one shot. He knew the angle, knew how much spin he had to give both balls, knew how much force to exert down to the third decimal.
“Hey, pretty boy,” Morgan called from across the table, leaning on his pool cue and smirking. Reid glared at him - he was distracting and Reid didn’t want to have to do the math over. “They’re not gonna sink themselves.”
