Izuku has a quirk that allows him to turn into a cat, but as of now...He's kind of stuck like this, like a cat, for /months/. It's fine, though, it means that now he can't be chased by Eraser-Head! After months of running away from that man, he would never suspect he was a cat! He thought he cheated the system, except that being a cat—a kitten—is harder than being a human. And so he got pretty roughed up when a rock was thrown at him, and many other things piled up the same way snow or trash piles up on the street.

Summary
Tokyo has a big problem: A bizarre rash of serial killings has struck the city, leaving so many bodies on the streets they hardly have enough tape to secure all the crime scenes. The Commission wants the cases solved and the killers captured, and they want it NOW.
Bakugo Katsuki has a bigger problem: Apparently they've called in his ex-boyfriend to work on this case with them, in hopes that his brilliant mind and instincts will be able to catch as many killers as possible. Herein lies the problem; Midoriya Izuku has spent the last four years locked in Tartarus for a string of killings that they couldn't fully prove that he had actually committed.
This was not a reunion that Bakugo wanted to deal with, whether lives were on the line or not.

Lan Wangji is on his way to see Wei Wuxian in the Burial Mounds, sees an explosion, checks it out-- hey, guess what! It's Wei Wuxian, and he's not waking up! Lan Wangji figures Jiang Wanyin will probably want to know about this, so he sends a messenger butterfly to let everyone at Yunmeng know who he found and then he discovers Wei Wuxian has no golden core!
And so when Jiang Wanyin gets there and is told this he goes, "omg wait I know a guy who could get him a new one" and so they set off to get Wei Wuxian a new golden core.Meanwhile, Wen Qing and Wen Ning are sprinting after them because golden cores really don't work like that.
