Jaron stares at the pot, the silence stretches as he collects his thoughts. The clock on his wrist ticks up to seven hours. “And how do we deal with a monster, when we find it?”
“We run.” Chief spits the answer. Reaching for his bag, and grabbing a silver looking pistol from it. “Or we kill it, whatever guarantees most of us will come back alive.”
“Man. Sounds rough.” Jaron hunches, grabbing a clay pot from his own bag, and serving a portion of stew. Giving it to Chief, before serving one for himself.

Summary
Xisuma likes to consider himself a simple person, he is a hard working man, that has simple and fulfilling likes that make his life enjoyable, he never asked for much and he truly doesn't need a lot to get by.
He likes tea and music. The most expensive thing he ever bought for himself was his guitar, which he plans to play a bit after doing his morning tasks.

Xisuma considers himself a simple man, but his house is far from it. It's not actively trying to kill him, he knows that, he isn’t sure if it's alive or not, but he knows it holds no ill towards him. But the same way a cat can asphyxiate their owners by laying over their faces while they are sleeping, so can his house harm him, even if it wasn't the intention.
So like a cat he has to take care of his house, so it will last for the years to come.

Summary
It's odd, in a way, how vehemently Chief is pushing everyone away. He isolates himself, far from everyone that cares about him. It doesn't mean Jaron will let himself be chased off, not even after the fourth time Chief tells him he should leave him before something happens.
Perhaps he should’ve listened, perhaps he should've been more careful with his approach, or perhaps he should’ve just seen how everything was wrong from the beginning. He should’ve stopped to look at the truth before it was too late.
Now the outcome of pushing too far is somehow being sent straight to Hell.

Ash really wanted to ignore Reddons but even so. “Do you think it will rain?” He couldn't help but ask.
“Did it rain since-? you know.” Red shrugged his shoulders. Still following Ash like a lost puppy, his suit red and without a single wrinkle on it.
Even what he wears is annoying.
“No, it didn't.” Ash shook his head, looking at the decaying buildings around himself. “Do you think it would be good if it rained?”
Red shook his head. “We both know it wouldn't. We're not that dumb.”
