“Careful, Spy-san. Aren’t you getting too comfortable around a big, bad, terrible pirate?” Ace shoots back, as he watches the relaxed lines of the spy’s shoulders. The blond easily falls into step with Ace following him inside the ship to raid the galley, his weapon resting harmlessly on his back.
“We are both stuck on this ship until we make it to land,” Sabo points out. “Besides, I already told you. I could take you on with my pink finger.”
Ace sticks his tongue out. “I bet even Luffy could take you on, and he is a weak crybaby.”
That elicits a laugh from not-Sabo, and it has Ace reeling with delight. And oh, he is a little fucked, isn’t he? Even if this stranger is not Sabo, even if it is just his face and his actions and his stupid propensity to get under Ace’s skin, Ace could never raise a weapon against him and actually intend to kill.
It’s not Spy-san, but rather he who has gotten too comfortable.

Kaveh finds himself finally looking up, breath caught in his lungs, a lump in his throat that makes it impossible to talk without choking. He blinks back the heat in his eyes.
“I’ve already lived my ambition. There is no after,” he says, voice unsteady like a stormy sea.

Summary
The crowd around breaks out into murmurs, all looking transfixed at something, or perhaps someone, behind him. He spins on his heels and finds himself facing a masked man. They’re so close that the distance between their noses can not be more than an inch. Daisuke’s breath hitches.
The black lacy mask lines his face well, making the gold of his eyes pops and defines his cheekbones. He is dressed in a shimmery sleeveless black crop-top that turns into fringes below the waist, barely covering his abs. The tight leather pants glimmer under the orange lights. Black leather gloves run up to his biceps. Under the mask, Daisuke notices the subtle sheen of glitter.
“Pretty,” The stranger says, his gold eyes bearing into him. The words come out like a whispered secret meant to stay just between the two of them.
Daisuke gulps.

Summary
Luffy and everyone he loves dies. He's the only one who wakes up with his memories, and plans to fix his loved one's tragedies as best as he can, without telling them who he is or how he knows everything about them. It's lonely, and he doesn't expect a happy ending for himself, as long as he can give some to his friends and family. He'd gladly sacrifice his own happiness for theirs.

Their faces are very close now. They’re both huffing, winded from the run. When Kaveh exhales, Al-Haitham can smell the mint gum he always liked to chew.
“I hate you,” Kaveh spits, but he doesn’t move away.
“I know.” Al-Haitham brings a hand up to his face. He pauses before he wipes away a tear.
Kaveh’s trembling. “You ruined me."
Al-Haitham exhales, slow and shuddery. “I know.”
Kaveh closes his eyes— “I hate that you left me.”
—and Al-Haitham kisses him.
After four long years, Al-Haitham finally returns to the idol industry.

Alhaitham snorted, a flush dashing across his high cheekbones. "What do you think?"
Tighnari leveled a piercing stare at Alhaitham in return. "I think you both must've fallen out of the Stupid Tree and hit every branch on the way down." He shook his head. "Come on, Alhaitham! At some point, one of you is going to have to say something!"Alhaitham figures out his sexuality at fourteen years old. It takes Kaveh nearly twice as long. That doesn't stop Kaveh from making out with Alhaitham all over Sumeru in the interim.
