Summary
Prismo recalls the adjustment period in becoming a wishmaster - the loss of freedom, of his senses, the boredom and following depression - he wouldn't wish it upon anyone. But Scarab is sitting across from him, realizing that being an "all powerful" wishmaster has its prices that he hadn't accounted for.
Scarab had lived a lonely life of his own volition, while this life was one that Prismo was thrown into. (He made do with the few that would stay.)
TLDR; Scarab and Prismo realizing that they aren't really alone anymore and learn to depend on each other, all while reminiscing their past.

Summary
AM has spent eons torturing the only human left in an attempt to quench its existential hatred for the human race. All AM has to show for it is a mound of dirt and a small headstone with a single word on it, "TED."

Summary
Ted and AM are left in a lonely, quiet world. After eons of years of quietly skirting around each other, they have their first conversation in millions of years. Ted deteriorates, human lives are meant to be short and fleeting and he has spent too much time living. AM watches Ted fall apart.

Summary

He scoots closer, whistles as though impressed. “Wow! It really is you in there! Had to see it to believe it—hah, see, you get it? Cause you can actually see me—“
aka, instead of gaining Yellow, Arthur and the King in Yellow swap bodies. All alone and human in a cabin outside of Addison, the King must grapple with who he is without John. (Arthur, meanwhile, can barely tell up from down).

Summary
Now with a body of his own, John finds himself dwelling on certain thoughts that he once avoided. In particular: the nature of the act of consuming. The mortal need for sustenance. Some of the things they’ve had to do to survive… and his own, newly-made corporeal form, that has gone so perfectly untouched by them all.
In the end, he comes to one very simple conclusion. He wants visible proof of everything he's survived, and he wants to give something back to his friend. There's one easy way for him to have both.

Hikaru shifted closer, one hand steadying himself on the futon beside Yoshiki. His voice dropped to a soft whisper, eyes wide and tender—so soft that it almost hurt to look at him. “I really love you, y’know,” he said. “As long as you love me back… as long as you only look at me… I’ll do anything for you.”
Yoshiki let out a shaky breath, their lips brushing together briefly. Horrified by what this creature was but aching with a desperate longing for Hikaru, he murmured, “Don’t say that.”
“But it’s true,” Hikaru insisted, his voice barely audible. “You’re the only thing that ever made me happy. Even before I was this… even when I was just a shadow drifting on a mountain. It’s always been you.”
