Summary
It’s supposed to be a simple mission.
Chuuya’s on one of his first solo missions as an official Executive, a single platoon as well as that Akutagawa boy sent with him.
Mori actually suggested he bring more men with him, but Chuuya insisted against it. He wants as few casualties as possible for this mission. And he needs to prove his worth as an Executive. Prove that he can handle himself and deserves to be allowed to stay at the Port Mafia. That he can be useful to them.
It all goes horribly wrong.

Chuuya gets thrown in way over his head during a mission and hallucinates his friends betraying him once again. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

Summary
"I woke up in a bed." Atsushi breathed out, sounding incredulous.
"Um, okay?"
"I- I've only seen them from afar." The child confessed bashedly.
"Oh."
"It felt just as soft as I thought." He continued dreamily, appearing to be stifling a smile as he bowed to Dazai, who lay down, motionless. "Thank you so much, Kidnapper-san! I am so grateful."
Atsushi is reverted back to a child, Dazai suffers from parental instincts. (And sucks at it) Kunikida shows his concern through violence. (It's received, but he sucks at it too)

Summary
Dazai had thought once that he was a curse upon the people he loved. That he would bring misfortune upon them. That if he dared care for someone he would lose them and they would suffer.
The detective agency had changed all that. Taught him to sheath his blade, to care, and protect. Showed him a world of light, where he could try to protect the ones he loved, and be gentle in a way he'd never known.
But now he's frozen in front of Atsushi, and all he can think about is how one touch would kill the boy he's sworn three times over to protect, and he can't help but think that if he was kind enough to comfort him, he would stop his heart immediately.
No Longer Human has never been a kind ability. Dazai realises how cruel it can be.

Dazai walks into the ADA to find a desperate and distressed Chuuya looking for him, haunted by Arahabaki and having been unable to sleep for a long time.
This brings out an old and familiar side of Dazai from their younger years, one that only comes out when he is not being perceived by Chuuya.
He brings Chuuya to his dorm and takes care of him.
