    In the Cooldown for this episode, Brennan mentions that if Azune had said to Thjazi that Thimble was supposed to place the glyph on him, rather than just someone, the execution scene would have gone very differently. This is my take on that (although it doesn't end up being very different)

    During their travels in the Feywild, even Garmelie’s assistance can’t stop Vox Machina from wandering into trouble. It is, after all, what they do best.     This does not go well for Vox Machina, generally. It goes even worse for Percy, specifically.
