Dream took everything from him.
His castle, his magic, his power, and now, as chance would have it, his luck.
The scream that leaves him is like nothing he's ever heard before, the pain unbearable and unending. The metal teeth of the bear trap dig into his leg and he isn't sure how much longer he can take it. He needs to get out, to keep moving, lest Dream find him in such a pitiful state.
A savior comes out of the forest, although most would be frightened of him. Nightmare recognizes him. Of course he does. The glowing one eye brings him more comfort than he ever thought possible. He can only hope that he isn't freed from the jaws of the bear trap only to be put back in the maw of Dream and his newfound power.

Out of all the messed up futures Silver has been greeted with, this particular future is certainly the grossest. With a red and black sky, the sun blotted out, and the entire world covered in a disgusting, fleshy mass, Silver knew that he needed to fix whatever the hell happened.
What happened became obvious though, when he meets up with Shadow the Hedgehog, although, you likely couldn't call him that anymore. Not with his Black Arms DNA spreading throughout his entire body, more monster than man.

Silver and Shadow have met and danced around each other for the many years that they've met each other. Silver, at least, was allured by the man. His wit, charm, and jaded nature called Silver in like a siren song. He wanted to know more about the other, but the world never gave him the opportunity. The world was usually too busy being destroyed for any kind of relationship building.
At least, that's what Silver thought.

Unlike a typical Mobian, Silver wasn't one for a vacation in some luxury hotel with a massive pool, oh no no no, he decided that his vacation would be a three day camping trip in the middle of Chun-Nan's forest. Call him a weirdo, but he liked being out with nature! Sure the nights were freezing, but that just came with the territory. He could curl up in his hammock and simply sleep the cold away!
At least, that was the plan, until one night, one bright night with the moon at it's fullest, when his sleep was interrupted. At first he thought it was a bear or some other big mammal, easily dealt with his powers. Turns out it was someone far more familiar to him than he realized.

For better or for worse, Silver enjoys what Infinite offers him, and longs for more.

He's never been on a date before and is, with little exaggeration, petrified. Amy insists that he looks good and will be fine, but he feels a tad more apprehensive. The date is at a fancy restaurant and Silver just hopes he doesn't make a fool of himself.
Little does he know that a certain jackal has the entire night planned to the minute, and has a plan to make sure Silver stays trapped in his claws for the evening.

Playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends had been part of Niko's life for years, having played his fair share of campaigns, and even hosting his own on occasion. The current campaign was one of his own creation, and it was almost over. The party, his friends, were at the final boss.
Nikora often wondered if one of his party members would ever bard their way through a situation with a BBEG; flirting with it and succeeding. He was expecting it from at least a few of his players, but the one who actually did it? Succeeded in the charisma check with his drow warlock?
It wasn't who he was expecting.
Although, he had to admit, it was a pleasant surprise.

Summary
The summer solstice is an important day to the worshippers of the sun god: Lord Dream. The preparations must be perfect or else their quaint village will suffer under his wrath. The already strenuous preparations are made even more stressful when the demon, god of the moon, Nightmare, sends his wraiths to the village, destroying and wrecking havoc within. The inhabitants are at a loss of what to do, but they simply keep going, as it's Lord Dream's will.
One man won't take it, though.
Blue.
While he isn't blessed by Lord Dream (something he wants but will never admit), his loyalty is to the village and his friends, and he'll do anything to help keep it safe. With the solstice drawing near, he makes one desperate decision: to bargain with the King of Night.

Infinite the Jackal was trapped in a world of his own creation. Lost to time, lost to space, dreaming endless within the ruby he was now contained in.
The ruby was nice to him, for the most part. His memories and experiences melded into a crockpot of scenarios and dreams. When he wasn't reliving the deaths of his comrades over and over again, it was...nice. To be able to dive into the unknown part of his psyche was a comfort he didn't realize he needed. He was trapped, and for the most part, he didn't even notice.
At least, until, he was dragged out, kicking and screaming into a dimension flipped, quite literally, onto it's head. The gravity was weird, the people surrounding him were even stranger, and worst of all, his powers were taken from him, sapped away.
No Zone Prison.
He supposed that at some point his crimes would catch up to him. He just didn't think it would be like this.
He didn't think he would meet someone so alluring, so transfixing, that his entire worldview would be flipped on it's head.

When a storm hits and he's forced to be in close contact with the being, something from far away and beautiful, he learns that perhaps the only dangerous thing in the forest is his own thirst for knowledge and his easily won-over heart.
