Summary
Amy Rose is a well known therapist and psychiatrist in her home town, Station Square. Many remember their sessions alongside her as being relieving, challenging and engaging, and freeing, even. Of course, all her patients seem to have recovered in some way or another, or at least control their respective disorders.
And yet, Miss Rose was known for her another very peculiar and uncommon thing: she liked visiting the Square Mental Asylum at least once a month. She enjoyed talking to the patients and offering them goods that they were missing on, with them being separated from the outside world.
Until one day, during another one of her visits she is drawn towards the Maximum Security area of the building, where she had never been, hence she didn’t know there were patients there, by a loud commotion. The noise is caused by an weird patient, who instantly catches her eye.
After a short, but deeply felt talk with said patient in her own cell, she discovers that she suffered from many mental illnesses, mostly revolving around stress disorders. Amy notices her deteriorating condition and convinces the Asylum staff to let her out. Of course, the condition was that she’d constantly study and watch over the patient… -

Following a drunken encounter, two equally attached hedgehogs from a queer co-ed roller derby team, unwittingly sleepwalk into an adulterous affair. What should have been a one-time mistake, quickly becomes a galvanizing challenge for them both as their feelings for each other start to grow. They navigate an emotionally dangerous game in conjunction with a physically taxing one, all behind the backs of their respective partners. Sonic and Shadow both know they need to end it, for the sake of their partners, for the sake of their hearts, but it gets more and more difficult with every passing day.

The clatter pierced the silence in the room like a hot knife on butter.
“You can’t do it.” He shook his head, as if he already expected this outcome. Then, he took a few steps closer to Silver, placing an accusatory finger on his chest. “You can’t do it because you care for me. Because you’re not Time Wanderer, you’re nothing like Time Wanderer.”
Silver slowly grabbed Shadow’s hand with both of his, as if the previous contact had hurt. “How…how can you say that? How can you say that as if I haven’t done anything wrong?”
Shadow smiled up at him, as if it were as easy as breathing. “Because you haven’t, dummy.”
OR:
Silver can't stop thinking about the past, Shadow can't stop wondering about the future. Both hedgehogs are different, yet similar. Thus, they try to explore that.

It had been eighteen long months since Sonic disappeared, and with no hope of him ever returning, Shadow took it upon himself to finally put an end to Eggman’s war. After the final Siege of Death Egg VII, Doctor Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik laid dead in his last holdfast. Shadow’s gloves were stained a horrific red with the blood of Eggman, and after hearing the last of the robot’s deactivation, Shadow joined the main siege once again.
Shadow’s gaze fell upon Silver first, his silver quills stained with what he assumed was mechanical oil and singes from electricity. Shadow, although quite shaky, added red to Silver’s already stained quills when he cupped his cheek and kissed him, savoring that they both were alive. When Silver pulled away, Shadow was faced with a question he had yet to think about.
“What do we do now?”
“The only thing I can do, enforce the peace.”
