Summary
Tony finished his coffee and was on the last few emails when someone slid into the booth across from him.
“Um, do I know you?” Tony asked, eyes flicking up to settle on the stranger’s face. Immediately his blood went cold and he nearly dropped his phone.
“We’ve met, yes.” Loki said, picking at his nails as if he was bored.

Summary
In hindsight, they should have invested in a heavy-duty animal crate.
The couch cushions were shredded, what was left of the dining chairs was scattered across the floor, a bookshelf was knocked over, several vases had been shattered, and finally, the TV looked like it had been hit by a baseball. It hung dejectedly from the wall and pieces of the screen had fallen out where the shatter was.

Summary
Time doesn’t move the way it used to. When the world falls apart, when it really goes to shit, three months should feel like nothing. Most people are too frantic to notice what Will can only describe as an ascending horror movie soundtrack narrating his every move.
A part of him must still be pinned to the rotting wall of Hawkins library, conscious of every second in every day, desperate to be rescued from something only he can see.
or
A hypothetical Season 5, from Will's perspective.

Summary
Will needs a date to his mom's wedding. Mike volunteers.
“I have an idea,” says Mike.
Ice cubes form in Will’s stomach. “How dangerous is it? Like, should I call Dustin to talk you down, or should I call Nancy to be ready to drive us to the hospital?”
“No,” says Mike, “you can’t tell anyone or it won’t work.”
“Or what won’t work?” Will asks. It’s like picking up a rock you know a spider will be under.
Mike gets up and closes Will’s door. Hopper doesn’t make them keep it open but sometimes Will does anyway, because every now and then lying around alone with Mike on his bed just makes his chest ache too much. If the door is open he can tell himself You can’t do anything right now, someone will see.
Mike leans back against the door. His eyes are lit up with that special maniacal gleam that the Wheelers get right before they do something insane, like when Nancy says, “Then we have to go kill Vecna ourselves,” or whatever. “Take me to the wedding,” says Mike.
“Yeah,” says Will slowly, “you’ll be at the wedding. Obviously.”
“As your date."

Summary
Will raises his eyebrows. “Is that why you came in here?” he repeats, looking back down at the blue flannel. “To ask me about the weather in Lenora?”
“Kind of,” Mike says, and then, “well no, not about the weather specifically. I just– I wanted to talk to you.”
“Oh.” And Will looks a lot more surprised at this, actually, than the idea that Mike might have just wanted to come to his room to make small talk about unseasonably frigid California winters. “Okay. What about?”
“Anything.” The response is embarrassingly immediate. “Everything. I don’t know. I missed you.”
Hawkins, 1986. The world is ending, there are too many people in Mike's house, and to top it all off, he and Will have some things to talk through.

“Uh huh,” said Keith. “Sounds legit.”
