Summary
Bronze Age mercenaries migrated around, and wizards and Parselmouths were no different. It's the same in the late 20th century. For a Muggle Born Parselmouth with a talent for violence, the conflicts of Sub-Saharan Africa during the 80's and 90's are a far more welcoming opportunity than sticking around for Voldemort's First Rise. But after Lily's sacrifice ends the war, familial responsibilities to his nephew draw Alexander Evans back home. For Harry Evans, growing up in Southern Africa, no matter how violent, is still preferable to living with the Dursley's. And for a boy who never had a real family, the rich, ancient history of his Parselmouth ancestry is too tempting to resist.

Summary
Eragon and Murtagh have grown up together with their uncle Garrow and cousin Roran since childhood. One night, they discover two stones; one blue, one red. When out from the stones hatch a pair of dragons, the brothers are pulled into the dangerous life of rogue Dragon Riders as they are hunted by the evil King Galbatorix and his terrifying servants. Taken in by storyteller Brom, they travel for the Varden, the resistance force fighting the empire.
Eragon is barely 16, unprepared for the challenges ahead of them, and always getting into trouble. His dragon, Saphira, has her work cut out for her keeping him alive. But as their journey goes on, he finds his dreams plagued by a beautiful woman in terrible pain...a pain he must soon face himself.
Murtagh is only just a man, worried that his younger brother is not ready for a life of war, and unsuspecting of his own origins. He and his dragon Thorn have plenty of things to keep an eye out for as their situation worsens. Though Murtagh thinks he understands the world, one of Galbatorix's hunters could shake everything he thought he knew.
With the Varden just clinging on and their lives dangling by a thread, the brothers are in for the fight of their lives.

The fact that Shikako had a crush on Sasuke would be more manageable, if she had any idea what to do with it. Even though this was her second go at life, she was completely out of her depth here, which was an unsettling feeling for somebody who spent the last 14 years of her life with an idea of what was going on.
