    They aren’t so much hot and heavy straight away from chapter 1, because this fic is set over the course of a week and the sexual frustration has to build up a little as they keep being cockblocked.

    Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent both maintain a strong sense of justice and fight for peace in their respective cities. However, both are struggling to maintain order alone, and are weighed down by a lost sense of identity and the loneliness that stems from the isolation of living a double life. After a chance encounter, the pair agree to form a Justice League to address the growing threat to Earth's security. As they learn to work together, new feelings blossom, and the heroes soon find themselves leaning on each other for support and comfort.

    Slow-burn romance. Bat-family drama. Justice League shenanigans. Bruce being a rich kid with issues. Superman being an innocent lad.

    Heavily inspired by Batman/Superman The Animated Series, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited. Also takes inspiration from The Batman (2022), Superman (2025), My Adventures With Superman (2023), Batman: Caped Crusader (2024), Smallville (2001), Batman (1966), and various comics, including the World's Finest and Public Enemies series.

    (Lois thinks Clark should get more superhero friends that can keep a secret *and* stick up for him at the same time. She points him towards Gotham's most reclusive urban legend.)
