“You should just sell me to Zovack.” He can see the pointed looks he got from the others yet his eyes stayed to Damon who’s now looking at him with an unreadable expression, eyebrows knit together. “At least I’ll be finally useful to everyone.”

Kazuma glances up at Ryunosuke and quirks an eyebrow. “Well?”
Like a magnet—Ryunosuke kneels down beside him, tugs him close by the shirt, and kisses him. Kazuma makes a little noise against his mouth—surprised, maybe—and sighs into the kiss. Ryunosuke holds him, and holds him, and holds him.
Now, it’s not that they haven’t kissed, or touched one another, this entire time. Of course they have. But this—here, now—is different. This is them, standing in the house they’ll learn to call home, making it a home, making a home of each other. This—here, now—is something tangible, real, something like forever.
