Summary
What is unusual is the following:
Firstly, he is in the Captain's Cabin (Co-Captain’s cabin? The fucking honeymoon suite? Whatever the fuck they’re calling it these days)
Secondly, the room is - at least by Bonnet’s standards - a mess.
Thirdly, Izzy might be waking up alone, but he did not go to sleep alone. He went to sleep warm and heavy and snuggled.
Israel Hands – first mate of the legendary Blackbeard - doesn’t fucking snuggle. That’s fucking ridiculous.
And yet.

Or, the morning after Stede sleeps with Izzy for the first time, Izzy reminisces on the night before. He's interrupted by Stede who worries that he hurt him.

Summary
On the run and with no other way for them to escape, Izzy sacrifices himself to save the crew, revealing his identity as a wolf shifter.
When Stede and Ed find him, months later, Izzy might bodily resemble a human, but his mind is stuck on his inner wolf: scared, mistreated and dangerous.
While everyone declares it a lost cause – because everyone knows you cannot save the human part of a shifter, after they turn feral – Stede leaves no stone unturned to get Izzy back.
He is stubborn. And no one has tried using sheer, simple kindness, before.

Ed, however, is not ready to let him go. With Stede's and the crew's help, Ed works out what Izzy means to him and fights to get his First Mate back to his side once more.Navigating By The Light Of Your Stars is an Izzy Redemption / SteadyHands love story in three parts.
Shooting Star covers the romance between Izzy and Edward, after Izzy leaves the Revenge.
Supernova is simply some SteadyHands smut, which follows after the happenings of Shooting Star and
Morningstar, which picks up directly where Supernova ends, is Stede and Izzy figuring out their own changing relationship.
