“Where is my pup, Daeron?” Valarr’s brown and purple eyes turned dark. “The one you conceived for me.”
Daeron dared to smile, but Valarr could see the fear on his lilac eyes.
“Cousin, I'm afraid you have lost your mind.”
In which Valarr found out that Daeron had given birth when they were reunited at his wife's bereavement.

The pains came upon him in the early hours of the morning, while mist still blanketed the ground and the birds stayed quiet in their nests. A twinge in the gut, as if his bowels were twisting as they were wont to do before tourneys and talking with nobility. It was easy to ignore at first – Dunk was used to hurts. Smacks to the back of the head, hits to the jaw, aches and pains of training and cuts and broken bones. Pain was familiar, comforting even, in its frequency.

He’s no longer looking at Dunk; instead, he’s staring up at the open window, rain pouring down the stone walls. “How many Omegas, everyday, and raped and killed and thrown into ditches on the side of the Kingsroad left for anyone to find? It’s a very sad life.” Dunk hears no sorrow in his voice.
“I know how to take care of myself, Your Grace.” Dunk attempts to defend himself, but the words come out flat and lifeless. Aerion looks at him sharply. “I am a knight.”
“You are no knight,” Aerion answers dismissively.

“You will not be hiding,” she interrupted, more firmly now. “You will be blending in.”
That stopped him. he stared at her, certain he must have misheard.
“…Blending in.”
In order to save his son from fighting in the second Blackfyre rebellion, Baelor sends Valarr unknowingly to a refuge for noblewomen, where he is to be disguised until the battle is won. The Young Prince is further surprised and disgruntled when he learns that he is not the only prince to be sent to this mysterious place.
Or; Valarr is displeased at his father secluding him away, against his will, from the siege. However, for now, in his father's absence, he must keep his two cousins from accidentally giving up their true identity.
