Summary
Stephanie grinned at Damian across the booth’s table as he glared at the French fry trapped between his fingers, as if he was trying to vanquish it with his mind.
“You don’t have to be afraid,” Stephanie smirked as Damian’s brow ticked in annoyance. “A highly trained member of the League of Assassins such as yourself can handle a fried potato.”
Or: Stephanie takes Damian to Batburger to try French fries.

Berdly thinks he can handle watching a horror movie with Noelle! After all, it's her current hyperfixation. Unfortunately, he quickly realizes that he's in way over his head.
Side note: The movie they watch has a ton of gore, but this fic doesn't touch on it too heavily. I still marked the areas where I make slight mentions of gore, so even if you don't like reading anything graphic, you will be fine!

Nice makes a different decision when Dragon Boy spits Fear at his idol. It doesn't turn out like he expects.
OR
It’ll be any second now. Fear is fast-acting.
“Nice, are you okay?” Smile’s voice is close, “Talk to me. Is it hurting you? Are you okay?”
He doesn’t speak. He’s not sure he can.
“Oh, it’s way too late for him,” Dragon Boy says, “I can’t believe that idiot killed himself with his own weapon. That’s fucking hilarious.”
“What—”
He cuts off Smile with a groan.Bookmarked by Franburbo

“I see you as an equal” Dick had said, back when Tim first realized someone else would carry the Robin mantle “I want you by my side.”
Tim hadn't believed him then, not really. He was too blinded by grief and anger and jealousy at the little demon brat's face to even begin to consider it.
But he saw it, now.

Summary
They’d started as strangers. Sam still didn’t know much about Ursula - not her life before, anyway. But he knew she liked vanilla protein bars more than chocolate. He knew she laughed at his jokes, even the bad ones.
Ursula could tell Sam was in one of his moods. She liked that about him - he wasn’t stoic, or above it all, even though he was used to being the boss. He always told her when he needed space, or quiet. Usually he wanted neither. Sam was a talker.
Sam and Ursula both took the Demeter job because they were running from something. Fate had other plans.
