Summary
In the sun-forged desert empire of Sol’hara, unity is maintained through divine law, political marriage, and the carefully controlled power of Alpha and Omega bonds. When Hinata Shouyou, an Omega blessed by the Goddess of Dawn, is chosen to represent House Dawnspire in the sacred Trials of the Sun, his presence awakens a dangerous resonance within Crown Prince Kageyama Tobio—the most powerful Alpha the Empire has seen since its founding.
As the Trials test skill, loyalty, and compatibility, an ancient force stirs: a forbidden soulbond believed capable of elevating the Empire to glory—or destroying it entirely. Drawn together by fate yet terrified of what that fate demands, Hinata and Kageyama must confront a devastating question: is their love a choice… or a divine command?
With gods watching, Houses whispering, and the sun and shadow converging, their bond may become Sol’hara’s greatest salvation—or its final undoing.

Summary
Tsukishima Kei knew he was an asshole. He had always been an asshole. He had been raised by snotty upper class parents that expected greatness from him basically from the moment he was conceived. They were also assholes. He didn’t understand pleasantries, or friendships, or making small talk about someone’s baby shower while he was getting a cup of coffee. He wasn’t going to tell you about his weekend, and he certainly didn’t want to hear about yours.

Summary
Tadashi is an omega. Eventually, he will need an alpha. Kei didn’t respond to the onset of his heat, even when others did, and thus he is a beta. He will never be the alpha Tadashi needs. He can handle that. They’re just friends, after all. Always have been. He hasn’t particularly been wanting to escalate that relationship anyway. In fact, he’s never really given it much thought.
'This was supposed to be your chance,' some small, insidious part of him whispers from somewhere deep within the ugliness he harbors. 'You never gave it much thought because it was supposed to be obvious. Now he’s going to be taken away.'
---
The arrival of Tadashi's presentation as an omega marks a turning point in Kei's understanding of himself and their relationship. However, his resignation to an unhappy fate of loving his best friend from afar is questioned when the two of them move in together, and he finds himself more affected by the omega than he'd previously thought possible.

Summary
So you could imagine the surprise Tsukishima felt when he slammed his door open, only to find a teary-eyed Yamaguchi Tadashi, someone he hadn’t spoken to in so long he couldn’t remember the last time he did.
But nonetheless, Yamaguchi Tadashi was standing there.
"Can I stay here tonight?" Yamaguchi hiccupped in the smallest voice.
Tsukishima simply stepped aside to let him in. And when Yamaguchi brushed past him and he noticed he was barely holding it together, Tsukishima blocked his path and pulled him close. Yamaguchi didn’t hesitate, he buried his face in Tsukishima’s chest.
"I should’ve called, I…"
"Shut up Yamaguchi," Tsukishima whispered into his hair. Stripped of any resentment, the words stumbled out of his mouth more like a mantra, a soft but genuine attempt to remind him of who they once were.
Or, despite growing distant, Yamaguchi shows up one night at Tsukishima’s door, needing a place to stay. From that moment, Tsukishima believes that miracles do exist.Main story is now complete, but an epilogue will be added soon!
