They've kissed--several times, even--, but for some reason Loid is hesitant to take things further, and Yor is beginning to get frustrated (and doesn't fully understand what she wants yet). Will becoming Thorn Princess in her entirety embolden Yor to accept all sides of herself, and stop injuring Loid every time they get close? Or will Loid/Twilight break past his pathological need to let Yor make the first move?
Anyway, Loid and Yor learn things about themselves, and (eventually) about their daughter.
Set in a post-reveal, early-relationship setting. WISE and Garden are working together.

He'd seen that dress on her before; it was her favorite. He felt like he'd fallen in love with her in that dress. Maybe he had -- she'd worn it the night she proposed, and on some of their dates. Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes shining, her gaze lingering on his hands as he loaded each weapon. Shit.

Set in modern day New Orleans, Louisiana. Alastor owns a restaurant known as ‘By the Bayou’ as a chef. A tasteful jazz inspired lounge and restaurant, there is always a live band playing the sweet sounds of the 1920s to set the mood. Although he would never sully his mothers recipes, he does cater to a special clientele with different tastes. By day he is Alastor Dubois, talented chef and owner, by night he is the infamous serial killer “The Butcher”. Charlotte Magne was or rather still is a student at the Culinary Institute of America for Baking and Pastry Arts with a minor in Hospitality Management. She was excelling in her program until circumstances needed her to step away for a time the being. Once she can go back to New York to finish up her degree she will but until then her parents sent her to Louisiana with her friends Vaggie and Angel to have some fun while they handle the situation at home. However, Charlotte, who prefers to go by Charlie, believes the whole “Idle hands make work for the devil” and wants to get a job while on vacation.
