Summary
On the day Will Byers should board a plane to New York, Vecna pulls him backward through time. His eighteen-year-old consciousness wakes in his twelve-year-old body, one week before the Demogorgon takes him into the Upside Down. Meanwhile, twelve-year-old Will finds himself trapped in 1989, disoriented and alone at an airport, calling the one person who still answers: Mike Wheeler.
Two versions of Will exist across six years of distance. One carries memories of everything they survived: monsters, sacrifices, El's death, and words left unspoken between him and Mike. The other knows nothing of the horrors ahead or why his best friend sounds so heartbroken on the phone.
Armed with the knowledge of every tragedy to come, older Will faces an impossible choice. He could save them all, and rewrite everything. The clock ticks toward November 6th, and Will must decide what matters more: the lives he could save or the truth he never had the courage to speak.

Summary
The party has a drunken night in Mike’s basement. During their night they find out Will has never kissed anyone before. A drunk Lucas gives Will his first kiss, causing Mike to storm off abruptly. When a confused Will goes after him, he realizes he can brighten Mike’s mood by telling him he’s in need of more practice.
(Takes place after s5, but with El ofc alive and single)

“Oh. No, it doesn't feel bad to kiss them. It's nice.” Mike turned away from Will, blinking confused “Also I wouldn't know if I liked to kiss guys since I never tried to kiss one. I can't visualise it.” His hands came together when he said that, anxiously playing with his fingers.
“I could.. help you with that. Maybe?” Will felt like he couldn't keep his hands to himself anymore. He needed to touch Mike, somehow, anyhow. So he pushed his foot under Mike's thigh.
“What?” Mike's eyes found him again, fast.

Mike realised how much he yearns for Will's touches. He starts to think a lot about it and just ends up with Will kissing him breathless.

Summary
The feeling of being wanted is a powerful drug. Being wanted by the one you want is incomparable.
"Mike," Will says lowly. "You’re— You’re so close."
Too close, his brain supplies, a little hysterical. Too much.
Mike doesn’t pull away. "I know."
"Why?"
"Keeping up…" Mike exhales a short laugh that Will feels on his neck, "appearances."

A guy hits on Will at a party, Mike leaves with a hickey, and by morning everybody thinks they're dating.
Will knows it’s supposed to be pretend. He just doesn’t know how to act like he hasn’t wanted this for as long as he can remember.

"Ha-ha," Will replies dryly, rolling his eyes. "Thanks for trying to make me feel better. I guess... But it doesn't change the fact that I'm sixteen and haven't kissed anyone yet."
"Don't feel bad, seriously! Kissing is super overrated anyway," Mike waves his hand through the air.
"What?" Will laughs in disbelief.
"It's not bad. It's just... okay," Mike shrugs, rocking his hand. "People just make it out to be like some amazing world-stopping experience that you can't get enough of. When it's nothing like that."
Will huffs, smirking. "I wish I knew what it felt like so I could tell you if you're wrong."
"I could show you…"
"What?"
Mike clears his throat. "So you know what it's like," he speaks carefully, quietly, like any moment everything might fall apart. "Then you can tell me if I'm wrong or not."
Mike can't figure out why he still can't say I love you to El.
Will can't figure out why Mike's acting so strange.
Featuring very repressed, Jealous Mike, a very confused Will, and one night that changes everything.
