Tony Stark was tired. But he had a planet to protect, even if everyone laughed at him whenever the prospect of alien invasions was brought up. He could count on one hand how many people he could trust, which was disheartening but then, what else was new?

NOTE: Due to RL this work was originally on hiatus until May 2020, but then there was a global pandemic and personal tragedy. I still have tons of notes to bring this to a close, but am behind where I'd hoped to be before COVID. The last chapter here isn't a cliff-hanger, and even has a bit of a resolution, but there is still story to be told. I'm not sure when I'll be able to write and post again. My new plan is not to post anything more until the whole bloody fic is DONE. To which end, cheer leading welcome and patience appreciated! :)

They get off to a rocky start but soon become great friends, and then something more. Tony thinks Steve's a virgin and wanted Tony to be his first. Months later, Tony convinces Steve to try a little dirty talk, and Steve is a natural at it. Almost too natural.
Tony's past is revealed to the team, and now Tony needs to decide: be a victim or a survivor.
