Summary
Hazel and Kit Tanthalos are twin sisters and heirs of the biggest defense tech company on the planet. Tanthalos Tech. Sorsha and Madmartigan Tanthalos have it all figured out, continuing global defense, aerospace domination and scientific discovery while raising a beautiful family. Until the oldest twin, Hazel is kidnapped and presumed dead. PJ grins, holding Hazel’s wrist with one hand like she’s afraid it’s going to walk away. With her other hand, she tears through her backpack hastily. “I could have sworn… yes!”
She brandishes a ring like a weapon, and all at once, Hazel understands. She plans on telling PJ this is fucking insane, and no one in their right mind would believe it, but when she opens her mouth, the first thing that comes out of her mouth is, “Why do you have an engagement ring?”
OR: Hazel and PJ manage to make a fake marriage a competition.

Hazel wriggles out from under her somehow, and opens the door to the backseat. She holds it for PJ, just like she did with the the door to the school. Like they're in Cinderella and she's one of those weird mice that turns into a carriage servant or some shit.
If PJ blushes as she slides into Hazel's backseat, hopefully the dark of the parking lot hides it.
Hazel gets in after her.
