Crowley yanks the polaroid off the dingy wall of photos, his thumb tracing the overexposed outline of the messy stark-white curls he had spent scanning 6,000 years worth of crowds for. The Aziraphale from 14 hours before held two matching rings at eye level, unabashedly beaming. Beside him, a not yet hungover Crowley stood with his hands wrapped across the angel, dimples marking his cheeks.
"Find anything interesting?", Aziraphale mused, half-interested as he prodded the tabernacle with a handkerchief-swaddled hand.
Quickly pocketing the evidence, Crowley cleared his throat, air puffing through his teeth as he plastered on a smile that paled in resemblance to the one now pressed against his chest pocket.
"Nope, nothing at all."

Your breath comes in waves, barely containing the thrumming under your skin. You are close, much closer than you remember being minutes ago, warm breath intermingling as you stare at one another with matching looks of desperation. It's too bright to look at directly - you sidestep his questions. "...and what happened to you wanting to pretend?"
"If I really wanted that, would I be sitting here, staring your lips like they're a lifeline?" He asks gruffly.
You open your mouth, then close it. Try again. "....I thought you said we should get control over -" Your eyes dip as his teeth catch against his bottom lip, "Whatever is happening.”
Caleb swallows hard, his voice dropping to a near whisper. "Control? You already have it. You might as well be holding the leash. Just…let it go.”
___________________Loosely based after that one text in game where MC says that Caleb is the most important person to her, and he responds with "I know". To me, that informed us that He knows, and she knows he knows. I crashed out and wrote nearly 20k trying to make them have that conversation. Enjoy!
