Summary
A hawk circles overhead, she calls to the heavens as a broken man lay dying beneath her wings. She longs to be with him, even now in death. Her great shrieks are heard by one man alone. They are heard by him because they are meant for him; he is the other half of the shattered soul bleeding onto the Earth at this moment. He knows that he could live one thousand more lifetimes and never find this missing half of his soul again.
Centuries, life’s, and deaths later a hawk flies in graceful circles. Below her, two halves of one soul cling onto one another. She has watched over this soul for eternity. With her watchful eye she follows them as they fall perilously through the air, heading for the crashing waves below. As much at war with each other as they are with themselves, neither willing to surrender nor conquer. Whatever emerges will forever be changed.

This is the story of Sir Galahad and Sir Tristan woven between the lines of Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter. The four lives we follow are connected even as they are lived centuries apart. Summary
I’m in love with you, Louis thinks. He feels empty, weighed down by his sadness and the loss of Harry inside him just moments ago before his knot finally went down.
There’s moments where he’s sure Harry feels the same. Like now, when he’s gazing down at Louis with so much adoration and tenderness. It’s like they’re both on the cusp of something more, but neither of them ever say a word.
His confession is on the tip of his tongue ready to slide out like honey, and yet he remains silent. They both do, looking at each other and recognizing the reluctance mirrored in each other’s eyes. It’s then that Louis realizes they’re both scared.
